Though we hope you love your purchase, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return an item.* Returns must have been purchased directly from us and must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as it was sent.

To request a return, log into your account on our website and request a return on the order on the order status page on the account page.

You will be responsible for paying the costs of shipping your item back to us. Go to the order status page for your order to request a return. Original costs of shipping are nonrefundable.

Once received and inspected, the applicable refund amount will be issued back to the original method of payment within 7 business days.

Gift cards are not returnable or redeemable for a refund.

* Excludes final sale merchandise such as B-stock products and products sold during promotional sales not eligible for return.

  1. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  2. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, as the service has been rendered.

  3. Refunds will be issued once Omnitype has received the package and reviewed the contents.

  4. Due to Shopify’s change in their refund policy as of March 1st, 2020, a 3% fee will be deducted from refunds on returned orders.

  5. Only unused products qualify for returns.

    • Used keycaps will result in the full cost of the product being deducted from the refund.

    • Used, mounted, or modified switches will result in the full cost of the product being deducted from the refund.

    • Used, assembled, or modified keyboards will result in a 25% fee deducted from the refund.

    • A 25% fee will be applied to all other used, assembled, or modified items.

  6. Products damaged due to mishandling or inadequate packaging will result in the full cost of the product being deducted from the refund. This includes but is not limited to scratches, stains, dents, cracks, or any other kind of wear.

  7. Damages to packaging due to improper securing in transit will result in a 10% fee.

  8. Missing packaging components will incur a 10% fee.

  9. The value of any missing parts will be deducted from the refund. This includes but is not limited to keycaps, tools, components, housings, plates, PCBs, etc.
